Name: Seductive Slam Type: Fairy Category: Physical PP: X 20 Y 32 Power: 60 Accuracy: Does not check accuracy Priority: 0 Target: Adjacent: One Adjacent Pokemon Makes Contact: Contact Description: The user distracts the target while slamming into them. Secondary Effect: Not any
Affected by Protect: Yes Affected by Magic Coat: No Affected by Snatch: No Affected by King's Rock: Yes Affected by BrightPowder: Yes
Signature Move: No Pokemon Level-Up: Azelf, Azumarill, Azurill, Dedenne, Diancie, Gardevoir, Granbull, Kirlia, Klefki, Marill, Mawile, Milotic, Ralts, Snubbull, Xerneas Egg: Absol, Carbink, Cottonnee, Eevee, Pachirisu
Basically a Physical Fairy move we badly need. It's a weaker one for more early-game purposes. The main idea is that the Pokemon seduces the opponent to get close and then slams it.

This is a really good idea! It's like you said: we needed more physical fairy moves badly, and this is is. Cool idea! [Btw love that Dedenne learns it <3 ]

Love this idea. It will be very useful in the early-game.
Maybe give it a low attraction chance if used on a Pokemon of the opposite gender, for the targets that don't come to their senses after being hit, but continue to be charmed by the user.
Or this can be an attraction Wake-Up Slap (70 power in Gen 6, 60 Pokemon 4 and 5, but there are still lots of Pokemon that learns this move early on).

This move sounds nice and I agree that we badly need it, but like the above poster the name of this move instantly made me think of the infatuation status. How about having a 10% chance of infatuating the target this move is used on for its secondary effect?

Oh, I didn't see that Snaq was making this. But I think even after this move is made, a multi-hitting Fairy type attack would be good to add in. But for critique in this poke, I also agree that it should have a 10% infatuation rate, but I don't see why this move doesn't check accuracy. Because its hard to seduce something and I dont think it would be fitting that it works everytime. A 100% would be better imo.

It ignores accuracy because it causes the opponent to be "attracted" to the user and not attempt to avoid it. Also if you don't think something should do that all the time, go talk to Attract. Also, I don't want to edit in another effect. As you've noticed I'm against dual effects. Edit: If something called "Enchanting" doesn't need a chance to Attract, this doesn't either, and having infatuation as an effect is unknown so far anyway. Also, Galom, Ace

Another physical Fairy type move other than Play Rough is vital. Approved 1/2.

A Fairy seducing the opponent before following up with a slam sounds fitting to me.

"Seductive" lol.
Despite the "huehue" name, it seems like a decent move. You may want to change the name for that reason alone, but I would not be against keeping it the same. Just consider it.

I may not notice what's "strange" about it besides it being a term to say that it is seducing, because I'm not native. Though I'm feeling you have some kind of wrong thought of it. Either way, I don't feel like changing since I think this name sounds well.

"Seductive Slam" means (literally) a slam that is seductive. Basically when you do the "slam", the "slam" is attractive.
It sounds better than "Seduce then Slam" though.
Maybe "Swoon"?

I'll Approve 2/2 it, Snaquaza, but I still would really like to see a name change eventually.

maybe this could be like a fairy-type sucker punch? also seductive slam sounds a little too suggestive for pokemonz if you know what I mean.

Code for the move right now, if you end up changing the name, tag me and I'll edit this.
"seductiveslam": { num: -206, accuracy: true, basePower: 60, category: "Physical", desc: "The user distracts the target while slamming into them.", shortDesc: "The user distracts the target while slamming into them.", id: "seductiveslam", name: "Seductive Slam", pp: 20, priority: 0, flags: {protect: 1, mirror: 1}, secondary: false target: "normal", type: "fairy" },

Lol, I love the name of this move. But just in case you do have to change it. i thought of a few names: Alluring Strike, Divine Rush, or just go with the simple Fairy Bash.

Looks good, but I personally would either change the name or add the infatuation chance like Ace advised.

Agreeing with everyone else, the name could be a lot better. I know the idea is "the Pokemon seduces the opponent to get close and then slams it." Looking at the definition of "seductive", "tempting and attractive; enticing." An enticing slam? A tempting slam? Idk, just doesn't really make sense to me. It sounds like the slam itself is seductive.

Why doesn't Uxie or Mesprit learn this?

If they don't, then I don't feel that Azelf particularly does either.

Salient I don't see how Jump makes sense for this move
