Ok, if we're going to talk about a new game, we're going to need to talk about starters.
NOW, do we want to have 3 starters of the water/fire/grass types? OR should we do something different with different types like flying/fighting/rock or some other circle of supereffectiveness? We could even have more than 3 pokemon to choose from!

Did you get permission from Snaquaza ? I heard him say we wont cover starters untill later. also keep it the same types and same number. We dont want to stray from the patterns too much Here is his post Thanks, though this will be one of the staff's inside jobs: watching how many Pokemon there are of a certain BST and what we still need. Also regarding Mega-Evolutions. I think they would be best in a way like starters and legendaries, so will be off limits for now!

I figured it'd be best if we just kinda started talking about it as soon as possible so we can start thinking about designing and/or having contests to make the starters.

You have to ask him to start a thread in the regions place. We should wait on this thread as the starters are a very controversial element of the game and it is best to follow Snaq's plan for this.

Let's have Water/Ground with Sap Sipper, Fire/Ground with Water Absorb, and Grass/Steel with Flash Fire.
more realistically will we have Water/X, Fire/Y, and Grass/Z
where X,Y,Z are another trio, and X>Y>Z>X
something like Fighting/Steel/Fairy or Dark/Psychic/Fighting

Possibly water/flying with volt absorb/motor drive to make it one weakness for each if i didnt miss any weaknesses.
