Effect: Adds Fire-typing to the holder and buffs Fire-type moves by 1.1x.
Thoughts?

You could make the Crest item like the Plate item, but with the function that you've given. I like the idea for all of the types!

It just sounds too overpowered and centralising to me.

I think an item like this is original (though we shouldn't have too many). I think adding a Fire type is enough, since it basically gives a 1.5 boost already. (Plus immunity to WoW, some weaknesses / resistances)

Stuff like Garchomp, Altaria, etc. will love a Fire typing though.

Stuff like Garchomp, Altaria, etc. will love a Fire typing though. But you have to consider that Pokémon lose their ability to hold an item at the cost of this. Altaria, for instance, can't benefit as it needs its Mega Stone. Garchomp would lose its Scarf or Life Orb, both items important to them. The useful variant of this would be a Ghost-type crest which could be chucked on Bisharp.

Forgot about Altaria, sorry, but it would still be really strong. In addition to that, making an item give multiple boosts is strange. A lot can benefit from it, so the item should be limited.

I've decided that this item is a too centralising and thus I'd like this thread locked. Later on, I'll suggest a better version.
