Generation 6 has introduced 62 new moves thus far, with 31 of these moves being signatures or moves that are very limited as well as 4 moves that have no purpose.
How many "widely-available" moves are we going to introduce?

over 9000 imo
JK. I'm not... Enough to provide variety without redundancy.

Not that many, editing normal movesets is a hassle as well, so I think it's best to make all the moves either small distribution or signature. Other moves would have to be really unique, since some random clone is not needed.
That said, introducing 60 is more than enough I think.

Lets also note that gen six was an outlier from most games and it introduced less abilities and moves intrade for more new concepts and mechanics. I think as long as we arent introducing a new type or new significant mechanic I think we could fit more moves and abilities in. Any thoughts about this?
