Ok, this is another move that I think Gamefreak hasn't made yet, and I'm tired of waiting ! So here it is. But, upon actually posting it, I realized I wondered what type of mon it would go to and what the name would be. I tu have any suggestions below, that'd be helpful! Name: Focus Dance Type: Fighting Category: Status PP: 24 (base) 32 (max) Power: - Accuracy: N/A Priority: 0 Target: N/A Makes Contact: No Description: The user focuses on taking out his target with more power. This boosts his Attack, Defense, and Speed by 1 stage! Secondary Effect: Attack, Defense, and Speed are boosted by 1 stage. Blocked by Protect: No Affected by Magic Coat: No Affected by Snatch: Yes Affected by King's Rock: No Affected by BrightPowder: No Pokemon: Machamp-Toxicroak-Sawk-other few Fakemons [trying to make it a really rare move like how Quiver Dance is]

Yep, it's just as scary as quiver dance, but this is for physical pokemon !

Quiver dance was deigned to give bug pokemon a fighting chance later in the game since they have lower BSTs. I don't think a physical version is necessary nor do i think a certain type is too weak to deserve this kind of buff.

This sounds a little too much, even though there is a special variant, I do'nt think there's as much flavor for this.

I don't think a physical version is necessary nor do i think a certain type is too weak to deserve this kind of buff. This was made to give some other pokemon like toxicroak other uses to fight [since he's usually only used for sucker punch] and volcarona and lilligant are actually qualified for fighting even without quiver dance.

This sounds a little too much, even though there is a special variant, I do'nt think there's as much flavor for this. I was meaning to go for the physical Quiver dance that never happened. Hmm, how about I change it to make a Special Dragon dance [SpA. and Spe. raise by 1]? Think it'll be better?

That sounds more balanced, though I'd like more discussion about it. @snackismybae, GalomAlso I can't seem to imagine which Pokemon would dance for this. I see what you're trying to do and it sounds nice on first view, but I'm not sure abou tit.

Well, like i said above, the type, Name, and Pokemon need work. I wondered what type needed it most. Maybe it'd suit poison? I dunno....

I don't like it. The point of Quiver Dance is that it's put on (mostly) weak Pokemon. You don't see Vivillon or Lilligant sweeping teams everyday. The only exception to this is Volcarona. I feel that we would overdo this move and include it on way, way too many powerful Pokemon. Dragon Dancers would basically go out of style in favor of Focus Dancers.
The metagame is already physically biased enough. I think it's a good dynamic that physical Fighting-types often have to choose between Bulk Up or Swords Dance. Giving them a move like this would be a "catch all" that would decrease creativity.

I just don't think they need another boosting move, truth be told. I could accept it if it was a Legendary's signature move or something, but this is just another OP boosting move. Overall, I see it as unnecessary, jaywad.

Ok then, I give up on this idea since a brainstorm for another one just hit me! Can you lock this move Snaquaza ?
