Scan Lens:When the holder is sent out in a wild battle, it tells you the Nature of that Pokemon. Tell me what you think .

I think it should tell only the nature of the pokemon. Ivs would seem pretty long and hard to state. Also, would it tell the name of the nature, or would it be something like: This Pokemon's strength lies in Att. and weakness lies in SpA. [hence Adamant] Do u get what I'm saying? Anyway it would be pretty great and would ease the search for certain natures. I like it

Eh I dont really see it working. One huge aspect of competitive is mystery and this is sort of fading as people are now memorizing sets and using the same EV's and natures. It also ruins the fun of having to guess whether you oppenent has a certain hidden power or not and this really hurts pokemon that sometimes use hidden power. This penelizes being different and makes every pokemon much easier to predict.

The PokeNav gives you Pokemon with good IV's anyway, but finding the right mother to pass on Natures is a bit hard.

Showing Nature alone seems fine to me. Regardless, this is pretty much a strictly competitive item, which I dislike.

Galom I do not see this as a strictly competitive item as I personally believe it'd be nice to see wild poke's natures. This would save time when looking for a Pokemon with a certain nature so you can breed. Also say you're going for a legend, rather than catching it and then soft resetting, you could just see its nature right then and there. Honestly also, if this seems to powerful as an item, I can see this being a good ability, as it works like frisk, but shows natures instead of items.

Most non-competitive players see natures as just a way to better relate to their 'mons, as if they were animals. They are just a way to help them "come to life". Why would a 9-year-old care about trying to find an Adamant Shroomish?

Galom That moment when you find a quirky god. Also, why would a 9-year old play a ROM hack based off of Pokemon Showdown? Plus, this would only make finding a good mother to start breeding only a bit less tedious. You would still need to find 20 different Ralts for Synchronize, one for every nature; find the right gender; and maybe run around for 6 hours finding a rare Pokemon.

Eh, I don't like this either.
Getting randomized natures for your Pokemon makes the game more enjoyable and memorable, you don't know if the nature of the Pokemon you're going to catch will be neutral, hindering or helpful which adds to the mystery factor. I don't want everyone playing this to be perfectionists with their ingame teams. So on that note, I'm going to Reject 1/2.

I wonder if instead of making this for wild battles, it would be better to only work for trainer/player battles? This would make it a competitive item more than anything, but it's not gonna make anyone be a perfectionist in catching new pokes.

I'd like to make a suggestion of it showing the ability of the Pokemon as well as their Ability like Trace which can be used in-game as well as competitively and doesn't make the item that useless.

This is a decent item for predicting the opponents moves for the least damage as possible. Pretty good.
