Neurotoxin BP: 80 Poison Type
Accuracy: 100% Special Secondary Effect: 30% Chance to Paralyze. PP: 15 (Max. 24) Target: One Adjacent Pokemon Does not make contact Affected by Protect Affected by Kings Rock/Brightpowder Pokemon: Tentacool, Tentacruel, Qwilfish, Skorupi, Drapion, Croagunk, Toxicroak, Skrelp, Dragalge, Ekans, Arbok, Seviper, Seismitoad The logic behind this is that Neurotoxins are poisons, but they affect the nervous system, thus instead of poisoning, they paralyze.

It actually does make sense and we have had moves of different types cause status effects such as Will-O-Wisp, Freeze Shock and Glare...I think I'm okay with this. I'll see what feedback others have.

I like this ability. It seems logical to paralyze instead of poisoning, and it's got a big difference between most poison moves, so this would be fine to have. The pokemon who get it are fine too. Though I'm wondering how you chose them in the first place? Did you base them off of how poisonous they might be or what?

I chose them based off of real life animals that can use Neurotoxin/Paralyze. Jellyfish, Pufferfish, Frogs, Snakes, etc.

It'd match seismitoad too [cuz if poison touch can work, so should this]. What do u think?

Small nitpick; it doesn't say anywhere in the post this is Poison type. Also this seems kind of like a physical move? If you're injecting neurotoxins into their body there's nothing Special about it, especially since this could arguably make contact.

Well, it may not mention poison-type, but it's pretty obvious what type it'll be. Still, you should put it. I don't think it should be physical since its affecting the nerves and mind control, which i think is pretty special.

I debated Special vs. Physical for the reasons TheBlueFiretruck and jaywad stated, I just made it special for completeness when I posted it. I would like to see same discussion about that, so I'm adding a poll.

I'm voting special because it's the neurotoxin itself that's harming the pokemon and not the impact
This should probably make contact either way, because the method of applying the poison makes contact (e.g. by stinger)

Well there actually have been Special moves that make contact (Infestation for example and maybe some others) so I'd be fine with that alternative. I'll just vote Special, then.

Why is this Special? o.o It comes across as a physical move to me.

I do think this should be Special. I'd imagine the user spraying the toxin, not directly going up and injecting it.

Cool creative idea that has a type of logic behind it. really like this move and even with the reasoning as to why some peeps think it should be physical I still think it should be special based move :]

This is cool and I really like the idea. However, I really think this should be physical. A bite or a sting would have a paralyzing effect since it needs to be in the blood stream to effect the nerves. A spray would posion

Approved 1/2. I don't really have anything to say about this; it seems like a decent move, though I see it as being inferior to Sludge Wave and Sludge Bomb. Nice name as well.
