in-Depth Effect: When this item is held by a Pokémon, the Defense and Sp. Def of the holder is increased by 20% and the holder's Attack and Sp. Atk is decreased by 20%. It's and interesting idea, but idk if it would fit in well with the numerous already spammy defensive mons. This is almost like an eviolite for fully evolved pokemon. If others like it though, here are a few suggestions- 1. Name Idea- Shield Orb. 2. If it needs a nerf drop it to 1.2 defenses. 3. Maybe to make it more unique, instead of -hp you could do -attack (that would make it a lot more OP however).

chundermunch Shield Orb does make more sense considering it's about defense boosts and I like the attack drop idea instead of health better. Looking at it, it sounds OP so I'm gonna drop it to 1.2x unless peoples prefer 1.3x

Only issue I feel is that it wouldn't affect seismic toss (well LO doesnt iirc) so it would basically be free defense boosts for blissey, but if its only x1.2 then might still be in competition with leftovers. Either way, maybe it would be worth increasing the attack drop to 25% or even 50%.

But if the council thinks its too OP I'll nerf the attack drop to 25% or lower :]

I would make it even as far as gain and drop. so 20% defense gain and 20% attack loss would make sense to me.

im my oppinion lowering the attack does not balance this move at all, since its most probable the holder is a passive attacker, hazard setter, special attacker (as in a wall, but attacks with spatk like scald with quagsire/seismitoad) so it might end up as a free 20% defense boost.

I guess i forgot to clarify that this works like Eviolite where both Defenses are boosted (and both attacks are decreased) I'll change that now though!

Ys but what balanced eviolite is that the pokemon that use it are outclassed by their evolutions so all it did was make up or a drawback. This item however increases the ability of defensive pokemon without taking much of a toll, like blissey that uses seismic toss, hazard setters, leech seed substitute pokemon wont be affected by the atk drop which concerns me Regarding the name, the shield part is actually nice but i dont think it should be lucky " since i feel "luck" is about crit rates, secondary effects, as this shield brings no actual luck to the holder. Maybe rigid shield, boosting shield , something related to defense since thats what it helps with

silverwhiteblueI made this item so it competes with leftovers and I feel as if it's balanced / not that better than leftovers. Lucky does remind me of Lucky Punch which raises crit ratio and I do prefer Rigid over Lucky so I'm gonna change that. If people feel like this is too unbalanced I could nerf it in some way but I like it as it is

It seems a bit unbalanced to me. Like silverwhiteblue said, some 'mons can easily use this for their advantage without having to worry about any consequences. I think that there should be more of a drawback for this item. Try to find a way to balance this more imo, and keep up the good work. :3
