Name: Possess Type: Ghost Category: Physical PP: 5 (base) 8 (max)
Power: - Accuracy: 30% Priority: 0 Target: Adjacent Foe Makes Contact: No Description: The user tries to possess the target's soul to take on another form. Secondary Effect: The opponent is instantly KO'd.
Affected by Protect: No, it won't break through it. Affected by Magic Coat: No Affected by Snatch: No Affected by King's Rock: No Affected by BrightPowder: Yes
Signature Move: No Pokemon: Shuppet, Banette, Spiritomb, Drifloon, Drifblim, Litwick, Lampent, Chandelure, Honedge, doublade, Aegislash.
About the move: We've seen many KO moves such as guillotine, horn drill, sheer cold, and fissure. I would like to add another to the roster of moves, and this will fit out nicely very well. One reason is that all the KO moves [besides sheer cold] cannot affect a certain type [fissure on flying-types, and horn drill/guillotine on ghost-types]. This too cannot affect a certain type, which is the normal-type. Another thing is that the last KO move introduced was sheer cold, which was in gen III. That was a long time, so i think the time has passed for another KO move to be made. A third thing is that, as it is for ghosts and the type has the fewest pokemon, this move won't be seen by much Pokemon and will be a bit more exclusive. It will only be given to Pokemon that possess things, such as bannette, and things possessed themselves [objects and such] like honedge.
So, now that my reasons were stated, how is this??
Edit: Giving this to already possessed pokemon like drifblim and such cuz i needed a bit more pokemon to learn this.

Well, the move itself has no particular flaw I'd like to point out, it's actually great ! The common questions would be why is it needed and such

At first I thought this was a bit too dark a name for a move. Then I looked at the others Guillotine-A machine that was solely to chop your head off publicly. Sheer Cold-Frostbite,Frozen alive Horn Drill-Getting severely impaled with a horn Fissure-The ground sorta swallow's you lol Im fine with the name now.

Ok, I guess I forgot to state my reasoning for this move lol. Well I guess my reason would be to stretch the Ko moves a little to aid some more Pokemon. some Pokemon get 2 Ko moves, and Lapras gets 3! And a lot of ghosts don't have Ko moves. So stretching this Ko spread will actually benefit some ghost types more without blending 2 Ko moves at once.

Grammar Nitpick: Possess, not Posess or Posses. Posess is not a word, Posses is the plural form of Posse.

I really don't think another KO move is necessary.

Well, i guess it wouldn't be needed, and it's not THAT original to begin with. Should i just scrap it Salient ?
