This is to discuss post-game. How large should the post-game area be, what general things should be in there.
Make not of the fact that we aren't creating the exact towns yet, so don't suggest minor things. Just things there should be space for, and how much space there should be. How much content we should have etc.

To make it not boring, I feel like there should be some sort of post-game. Maybe now that you're the champion, all the main characters you've meet through your journey now congratulate you everytime you talk to them and ask to battle you, hoping to claim the title for themselves? What if after the credits roll after you're champion, you're challenged by a new character who has super OP pokemon and takes the championship title from you, when you realize he's actually the REAL head of the evil organization and you must find a way to combat him, introducing our new legendary Pokemon.

I think the idea is more battle factory-ish, not so much an alternative storyline. However something small like the delta episode in ORAS or the Looker episode in XY would be cool.

I feel there should actually be a few side quests for after the game. I do not think we should have a subplot and the Delta Episode was honestly not that good, since it was forced and you just had to travel from one place to another. I do think it'd be cool if you had some small stories about legendaries and do some things to obtain / find them when you choose to, but still have many different options. A battle faculty should be there as well in my opinion, as well as maybe a competitive place around it where you can get a lot of facilities to help with competitive matters. Finding some sub-plans of the villainous group like in BW would be cool too, but I don't feel like they should be necessary and that the main thing should be defeated already.

^A battle faculty should definitely be there. Perhaps we could also get a mode in which we can vs story NPCs with competitive teams, this could include the gym leaders, rivas and villain team. Elite 4 + Champion rematches will happen when facing the Elite 4 again, of course.

Possibly one of our side quests could be similar to bill's tangent in fr/lg in which we introduce new islands to keep the origional game from being too long, while adding more into the post-game. This could also give us a chance to introduce another set/pair/single legendaries tied in with the islands lore.

I would love some sort of really mysterious legendary that's been occasionally mentioned throughout the main story, similar to mew/mewtwo in the original R/B/Y. Finding mewtwo was always so enthralling, and I'd love to capture that kind of feeling of mystery.

What would you guys think of the Maldives as a post-game exploration region, like the Sevii Islands?
Note: This would be something I'd include, not necessary.

I would like to bring up the 2 or 3 multiple endings that me and snack touched on depending on who's faction the trainer helps, as stated, it would do wonders to increases the re playability and differentiate it from any other pokemon game.

If its not too late for suggestions, I'd like to suggest this: We've got 3 post-game towns after the E4 which is what is decided right? Well, what if each one held some missions very much like Looker's episodes. Instead of the 5 missions in Lumiose City, each town would have 1 mission relating to eachother as a story. There would be a Person named [can change by a suggestion] Mr. Scavenge. He tells you to find 3 missing shards that are hidden within each town and that once these 3 are found, it'll combine into a single crystal called the time Crystal, which acts like a griseus orb for Temponae. The shards will be key items, and the giant crystal will be a regular item. Missions will be like scavenger hunts. You have to explore specific parts of these towns. These towns will contain the following: Town 1: A river-lake filled with other swimmers who are looking for the same shard. You'll battle them and reach the end where 1 person found the shard. You battle [and win] him and take the shard. The shard's name will be called wave shard. Town 2: A cave named Vibrant Cave that is filled with many glittering gems and explorers who are lookin for the gems. They battle you of course though. The end of the cave shows a random dude who has the shard. He thinks its a normal gem and just throws it on the floor, where you then pick it up. The shard's called the rocky shard. Town 3: Just a random route filled with grassy patches. There you'll find the strongest trainers and eventually reach the end, where some Pokemon surround the shard. You talk and battle each Pokemon [max=5]. Once you are done, you obtain the shard. The shard's called Grassy shard.
So?? How is that for an ending? It's not the best, but it certainly is an idea! Hope u like it

jaywad that seems like a pretty good idea. In addition to that (if it's not to late), I'd like to add a battle or tower of some sorts like at the end of DDP where you could team up with your friends you meet during the game and battle NPCs

Is there guidelines for the post-game yet? or maybe i missed it, but i was thinking since Temponae is Legend cover, we can travel back to it's cave anytime and travel on the strings that are already there, and travel back in time or in the future to get a mission done or prevent something from happening. I think something like that could be cool, just a thought.

There should be a sidequest centering around Meloetta. Right now its an event only Pokemon, and as the PS mascot, I think we should give it its own side thing. It played a big role in the BW anime, and we have brought a previously event only Pokemon into the game before (Deoxys).

I think I typed this in Brainstorming but I would like to see a battle tower in post game which includes all of the Kyoru auth, and you battle through them, floor 1 is voices, 2 is drivers, 3 is mods and 4 is RO, once you complete it you get a Fakemon or something

Finding some sub-plans of the villainous group like in BW would be cool too, but I don't feel like they should be necessary and that the main thing should be defeated already. Good idea, but I think this should have another sub-story. So, since you're the champion, the former champion lets you in on a few secrets. There are 4 legendary pokemon trainers who only appear to the best of the best. The former champion thinks that you are the one, so you seek out these mysterious trainers. All of their locations are secret areas that you can't find on the region map, and you have to go through puzzles to get to where they are. The battles against them are infuriatingly hard, because their teams are well-built and high-leveled. When you beat one, a new secreat area is formed for the next one, and the one you fought gives you a hint on where the next one is. When you beat all of them, in your mind, a voice (Temponae) tells you where he slumbers. You travel there and navigate across the puzzling webs, and when you reach the center, you climb up a web and find Temponae's chamber. Please tell me its not too late

not Temponae, but maybe the third cover legendary? Yeah, probably. That would be a better choice. But to go thruogh finding all of those legendary Trainers and battling them, the Pokemon has to be worth it.

We don't want another Zygarde or Kyurem I definitely agree, but that will probably be discussed when another legendary contest starts.

@megahop Please do not double post.
While it is not too late to submit ideas (in fact, we encourage it), keep in mind that whatever post-game we make has to flow well with the main plot.
