How much should the creator of the map be able to do. The absolute minimum is making the routes and towns because that's chaotic with everyone. However, should he be able to decide what climate each place has, and which dungeons are there, and how big the cities are. Discuss everything about the freedom of the creator here.

In my opinion, the creator should have some freedom to make it fun for himself, but I feel like we should dictate the general idea for each area and let him do what he wants with it. For example: If we want a snowy region on a mountain, we give him the general idea and what areas we want and let him go to work. I figure we add in secrets/TMs after the map is made.

One-Day Left Reminder. Post your thoughts if you want them to be heard, otherwise I'll set the guidelines.

I feel climate and size of the city can be based loosely around the region/landmarks we already have chosen. After that, the creator really has as much freedom as he/she wants.
