There's no possible way to name this move without it sounding like Draco Meteor.

jaywad and Tazonite the space rocks theme seems a bit risky but yeah it's one of the very few ways to make this seem special, at the risk of resembling draco meteor. Psych i had actually considered this path but making it related to rare gems would probably affect the pokemon that learn it very restrictivly , and i want it to be a sligthly common move. Silex ray seems quite liked, which i'm happy about. Considering adding diance to the pokemon that get this

Just remove the secondary effect; it's really not necessary.

Well, I just made a move that seems exactly like this so i'm sorry. But I like the idea a lot! But why does rayquaza get it?

Galom removed the secondary effect . It's no problem stazz , and that was before, after edits it no longer does. thanks for pointing that out
