Carnivorous
Effect: Grass Types moves are Super Effective against Bug Types and the Pokemon with this ability resists Bug-Type moves.
Explanation: There are Pokemon such as Carnivine and Victreebel that are based off of carnivorous plants. Yet they are still weak to Bug-Types and their STAB Grass Type moves are NVE. This is also balanced out with the fact that most Bug Types are are Poison, Flying or Steel.
Pokemon: Carnivine (2 Open Ability Slots, makes more sense that Levitate), Bellsprout, Weepinbel, and Victreebel (One free ability slot, plus Pitcher Plants live in low sunshine areas).
So how do you like it .

When reading it at first, I was like this migth change a lot with grass types, but the pokemon that get it are actually very well thought out. I'm all with this ability if its exclusive to carnivine and bellsprout line. nice !

The effect wouldn't be considered too powerful either cuz these are never really used at all and makes them more viable. Good job on this Devo!

jaywad Beedrill and Scizor won't take a huge hit from this tbh because they are half Steel/Poison.

Basically my point is that some very hated bugs that are too strong for their tier will be pushed down thanks to the ability [shoulda said heracross]

I like this idea but how about making it into a move instead?

Making it a move means dropping the resistance aspect of this, witch doesn't make sense because the bug that falls for the trap is usually helpless. Also idk what the move would be called, pitcher plants and venus fly traps kill their prey in very different ways.

It should be a move. Example: Freeze Dry.

Right. Freeze Dry. Forgot about that. I need my current move to be accepted/rejected before I move this though.
