User steals 10% of the foes max HP on switch in. (This applies to the Poke that's out when you poke comes out, even if they chose to switch and their pokes didn't switch yet because they're slower.) Note* If killed by entry hazards, the ability would not activate. I've always thought an ability like this would be cool to see. I also think this would be extremely useful on volt switchers and U-Turners, but not too over powered as entry hazards stop you.

This is a really, really good ability. Widdle is a thing that isn't that common in this either fast or stall metagame, but if you can use this ability to widdle something so something else can kill it it's basically unavoidable damage. Switching out isn't an option, because entry hazards. Also, does this ability apply to a pokemon that double switched (faster pokemon switches into pokemon with devestate then the slower pokemon switches out) and does it apply if the pokemon with devestate was killed by entry hazards?

@luxray I think this is what you're asking. say the opposing Pokemon is faster than yours and he switches first. What takes the damage, the first poke they had out or the one they switched to? The answer to that is the one he switched to, because it is the poke out at the time your devastate poke comes in. It would work with mechanics like intimidate. say I switch first and you second, I'd take the health from the poke before you switch, because it was out when my devastate poke came out. If you died from entry hazards, the ability would not activate, well because... you're dead. xD Hope that answered all your questions. Thanks for the feedback.

I feel like this migth cancel out hazards, stealth rock's damage would be reduced, and 1 spikes layer would not matter much. If the opponent is a blissey or something with high hp it migth turn the game around.

This feels broken, especially on hazard stack teams.

I don't see this over powered because think of this. Most people who set up hazards only set up rocks. Spikes on the other hand with one layer alone deals 12.5% of the foes health. So this ability would not even do as much as a single layer of spikes. Also if you still think this is too broken, maybe it could be blocked b magic bounce and magic coat. Galom

It feels slightly broken to me as well. Also, We already have Regenerator so I don't think this is really needed.

I have to say that I agree... I wanted to suggest something at first, but it'd majorly revamp the ability and this just gives Pokemon the ability to easily wear down others.
Rejected 2/2 :c
