Reasons why I still think that Inner Beat would be a very good name:
A: It works well with the logic of Metronome because pokemon with this ability dont need a metronome to strengthen consecutive attacks. Same as how you wouldnt need a Metronome IRL if you had an inner beat.
B: Its very fitting for a music based pokemon.
C: It sounds like an ability and works well with the "X's Ability" message that pops when used. Unlike names like Timpani and Ostinato.
D: Its in English. Unlike Moves and Pokemon names, abilities have always been in English since Gen 1, so it will make the line between new and old abilities less clear.
E: if you think about it, the inner beat probably comes from the heart, so it also has all the symbolic stuff of "Music from the heart"

You could just call it "Rhythm" or "Tempo". There's really no need to have a complicated name for an ability. Remember that this is a children's game. 

Rhythm + Metronome + STAB Echoed Voice = Destroyer of Worlds

Besides that, I like it. It's unique enough and doesn't clash with other abilities that exist. Approved 1/2.

Tbh I would probably run a choice item before metronome, but it really depends on speed/bulk of the mon. And kids game galom....really. :s

Yes, really. What age group do you think it's targeted at, adults? Pokemon is innately simple because it is a game targeted at children.

EDIT: This conversation is over, let's get back on-topic. I am not 100% against Timpani as the Ability's name, but I think that Rhythm or Tempo get the job done in a way that more universally understood.

I think its more geared towards people as just a fun feeling game. I mean pocket monsters isnt the most kid friendly title i have ever seen, but besides the point this isn't relevant to the ability at hand.
