Move Name: Supernova Type: Fire Category: Special Base Power: 150 or 120 (haven't decided) Accuracy: 100 PP: 5(minimum) 8(max) Effect: 5% chance to burn an opponent. Priority: None Contact: No contact is made. Target: The enemy pokemon.
Description: This is an extremely powerful move and very pernicious indeed. The pokemon using this move puts all it's energy into one giant firey explosion with incredible range. Due to it being so powerful the user has to wait a turn to strike again due to exhaustion.
Unaffected by Strong Jaw, Iron Fist, Mega Launcher and Soundproof.
Protect affects this move. Magic Coat does not affect this move. King's Rock does not affect this move. Bright Powder does not affect this move. Snatch does not affect this move.
Signature Move: No Pokemon: Undecided
Here is an example of the move. Constructed criticism is appreciated, have a nice day.

Hey Ali. This is like Blast Burn exactly. You just added 100% accuracy and gave it a chance to burn. If you're going with the supernova idea still, I would lower the BP and add a unique effect to it. Something that can be used in game, but won't be overpowered.
Nice artwork btw

I knew I was forgetting something and thank you. I will leave the move making up to the others for now

kinda like Saburo said, carve out a niche for this move, it's essentially Blast Burn or Overheat at this point.

I don't see why this would be a recharging move. A supernova is a space explosion that is common with stars ending their life cycle. Maybe you could base it off of the move Explosion with less attack and possibly a paralysis secondary effect?

I feel that this being a Fire-type Light of Ruin is the most applicable.

Exactly what Snaquaza said. This could act like a head smash-light of ruin type of move. Your description could say: The user puts all of its energy into a fiery explosion. This will hurt the user alot!

The 5% burn chance seems kind of pointless. If it's that low, I feel that it should just have no burn.

I feel that this being a Fire-type Light of Ruin is the most applicable. So Flare Blitz but special with more recoil and BP, but no thawing effect.

The move itself has no problems if u ask me, but what i think you should do is find another type, since fire has already many strong moves, so it'll be a challenge to try and come up with one that wont resemble any or be outclassed.

Give this a thawing effect and a 20% chance to burn

I dunno, I feel like Fire already has a bunch powerful moves as it is but maybe it could work....

I think a fire type "Light of Ruin" would fit this quite nicely. I'd say 120 or 130 BP would be good, considering Light of Ruin is exclusive to a legendary pokemon. I also think that it should hit each adjacent pokemon, but I'm not sure how much that would affect the life drop of the user, you could potentially kill yourself with this move!
