RefractionDescription: User absorbs the colors of its opponent, changing its type. Effect: On switch in, user will change its Normal-typing and Normal-type moves based on the opposing Pokémon’s Pokédex color. Mechanics:-The following are the correlations between color and type: Red: Fire-type. Blue: Water-type Yellow: Electric-type. Green: Grass-type. Black: Dark-type. Brown: Ground-type. Purple: Poison-type. Gray: Steel-type. White: Ice-type. Pink: Fairy-type. -In double or triple battles, Palette Swap will target the Pokémon in the position directly opposite to it. If there's no opponent directly opposite to it, the user will stay Normal-type. -If the opposing Pokémon has the ability Constant, the user's Normal-type moves will be hit as if they didn’t change type. -If the user happens to lose this ability, it will return back to its Normal-typing. -User will always be Normal-type when outside of battle. -This ability only works on Prismin and Chromin, even if it is copied by Trace, Overwrite, Role Play, Entrainment, or switched with Skill Swap. Signature Ability: Yes. Pokémon: Prismin and Chromin If you have any comments, questions, suggestions, corrections, or anything else, please comment. :3 Thanks for viewing my ability!

Vibrant Wave + Polychrome + your fakemon all go hand in hand. I'm liking this new take on color!
In Double battles, I think it should target the pokemon you use the move on. And if it's a move that hits all 2/3 opposing mons, it should stay Normal imo.

Thanks for your input Psych! :3

Would it change it's look when it attacks or just the move's typing?

On switch in, it would change its appearance by changing color, but that's about it. Whatever color it is determines what type it is. When it is Normal-type, its original type, it is light gray in color but it always changes when in a battle.

I think you could maybe make it a move that kecleon could get too, sense he is the color based pokemon. But it could be a signature ability.

This move is Prismin's and Chromin's signature ability, so it wouldn't go to Kecleon despite it being the Color Swap Pokemon. Anyways, Kecleon already has its own signature ability which is Color Change. :3

I feel this move should just affect the users typing. If this ability was transferred to another Pokemon, would it only work on a Normal-type?

Twix, this move only works if it is on Prismin/Chromin, like Devoxys said. I specifically made it so that the move changes the type of Normal-type moves so that I'm not forced to create a signature move for my 'mons. They already have a signature ability, so no need for a signature move. :3

Do you have any more concerns Twix? I'm not sure that I elaborated enough on the reason why Polychrome also affects the type change of Normal-type moves, but if you still don't understand, I'll try to explain it more. :3

What do you mean cat? Im not sure how a reverse version of this ability would even work. o.O I mean the normal type Moves depen on the USER's color Ill make it if you want me tooIf that were a thing, it would kinda be pointless because a Pokemon is the same color no matter what, so this would cause the Pokemon's Normal-type moves to always change to the same type. Also, most Pokemons' color match their typing, so it would simply be an -ate ability, just without the 1.3x boost. If their color does not match their type, it's basically a non-STAB, unboosted, -ate ability. In addition with this, Polychrome is a sig ability, so making something with similar mechanics would just make this ability less unique. Because of all of these reasons, I think it's best if the reverse Polychrome ability is not made. :S Anyways, thanks for your idea cat!
