Instead of making it lose 100 kg, I think you should just make this the "Special Defense version of Automatize", with the Lightened status effect in play.

That's what Autotomize is. I reworded the /dt of Autotomize.

Exactly how does lowering your body temperature make you lose 100 kg?

It's a property of water. When water is frozen, it increases in density, like most substances, until it reaches 4 degrees Celsius, where it locks into a hexagonal shape, increasing the density by a lot.

Well I'll be darned, I thought Automatize halved weight for some reason... I don't really have any problem with this move at all, and the scientific aspect is a nice touch.

Doesn't exactly make sense, since technically would still weigh the same even if it is less dense. Could possibly get away with it, but not sure why it would boost spDef either.

I had to make it boost something to make this a variant of Autotomize. The best choice would be one of the defenses, and SpD made more sense to me than Def

I'd like it better as an autotomize variant.

I mean instead of +2 Special Defense, I'd prefer +2 Speed. I don't see how +2 Special Defense makes sense.

But +2 Speed would just be Autotomize but a different typing. If the user increases its density, I do see why it'd make sense to be +2 Defense rather than +2 Special Defense (compare sticking your hand into water vs an ice block).

Thanks Cyberknight!
Anyway, Salient told me to poll a proposed name change, it shouldn't matter too much towards the previous QCs.

Eh, I wouldn't say Solidify is any better of a name.

Eh, I wouldn't say Solidify is any better of a name. Wasn't that the name you suggested >.< Besides, there really isn't any other things to name it.

Over a month late, but I suggest you go check your scientific sources. More on-topic, prettifying yourself by a re-sculpting seems rather suspect and kind of silly :S If you do end up doing the re-sculpting thing, though, I'd suggesting only giving the move to Pokemon whose entire bodies are made out of ice (e.g. Vanilluxe, Regice, Avalugg) instead of stuff like Walrein, which can't really re-sculpt themselves without self-inflicting serious bodily injury.

Level 51, yeah, I'm redoing this right now. The current state is just filler.
