Should we have real Pokemon (as in, Eevee, Pikachu, Zubat etc.) in our game? Why or why not?

Well, obviously we're going to have a few real pokemon in our game, such as Beartic... because Mega Beartic. Some potential pros and cons with adding real pokemon to our game: Pros: | Cons: | Adds easily recognizable Pokemon to our game, possibly attracting more People
| Focus on the new Pokemon may be lost in favor of what the player is familiar with. | Gives more options with filling Kyoru | We'd have to choose what Pokemon are in and what are left out; there's no way we can fit over 800 Pokemon in Kyoru. Someone's favorite is going to be left out. | Allows for the creation of Mega Evolutions for existing Pokemon. (Mega Beartic) | Makes room for less original Mega Evolutions for our own Fakemon.
| Assuming Trainers have access to real Pokemon, it'd be easier to fill gyms, etc. based on what type we need. |
|
An argument can be made for either side. Personally, I'm more inclined towards not having any real pokemon in our game at all, putting all the focus on new Fakemon, like a real Pokemon Game (Not counting X&Y, which had non-6th-gen pokemon available everywhere)

The biggest problem imo with not having any real Pokemon in our game is egg moves. Without real Pokemon, many egg moves will be left unavailable due to our dex size being too small.

I mean, we'd still have them but not while the player is first playing through the game. They'd become available by "migration" or some post-game area.

Definitely try to have other Pokemon in the post-game. This would probably mean having specific post game areas though, or we could just find other ways to somehow integrate them in. Generally people don't breed anyway during main game, so a lack of them in that would be fine. Still feel like maybe including some would be warranted, due to the size of the region. Kalos had 450 mons so it really just depends on what we end up needing. I guess it could even be possible to only start adding in real mons half-main game. This might be a bit bizarre, but could work. Maybe make it so you can only find them in Northern Kyoru such that it isn't as bizarre. Doing it this way also kinda carries a possible benefit in that a lot of people will have their team already made by then. I guess most people would probably want to try out the fakemon as opposed to existing mons anyway, but this would kinda shove them in that direction anyway, meaning its easier to show off and have people explore the fakemon, then adding in the existing mons later to add some variety and not make things too samey if our mon-pool isn't that big. However, I do feel it might be a bit forced having the random addition of them midgame, even if separated into just one part of the region.
Just roll with fakemon-only for now and see how we end up.

Maybe the Cubchoo line could be present before post-game?
