Thermocontrol
Description: A device that controls the heat energy of Mattercule. Fling Power: 60 Type: Key Item
How it Works: This item is held by Mattercule. It has 5 settings (very cold, cold, neutral, hot, very hot), each corresponding to a Mattercule forme (BE, S, L, G, P, respectively). When selected in the Key Items bag menu, it will ask for the setting. If it is not held, Mattercule is always in its Liquid forme. There are initially 3 settings: cold, neutral and hot. Very Cold and Very Hot are exclusive to events.
RIP this

Honestly I think Mattercule should just be the three primary states.

Honestly I think Mattercule should just be the three primary states. Maybe with plasma too for the sake of hard-to-obtain sidequests?

I don't see why we can't make all 5 stages. I made plasma easier to obtain than BEC because after all, Plasma is the most abundant state of matter (unless Dark Matter is proven to be true).

It would just be better if it were simple as possible since liquid, solid and gas are the most relevant that everyone would know. I don't think majority of people would know about BEC. Plasma I think could be an exception possibly.

Perhaps we can make BEC exclusive to an event distribution? (tbh thats the way I planned it to be)

Nah, it's better to have them all have the same evolution method. One being event and the rest being through this item seems necessary. You can either remove BEC or just keep it with this item and not remove any of the forms i suggested. Though I think my idea is good, it really depends on what other people think. If people feel BEC/plasma should stay then let it stay.

Here's what I think:
This item controls the main 3 states of matter (gas, liquid and solid). BEC and Plasma can be obtained after the item is upgraded in a super-rare location somewhere. BEC and Plasma forms would be stronger than the other forms, as they are rarer (both in-game and real life). Plasma could have high speed, while BEC could have high defenses.

Plasma is not rarer in real life >.<
As for the stats, that's how I have made it to be. Liquid has 75 across the board, while Gas takes 25 from each defensive stat (HP, Def, SpD) and adds them to Atk, SpA, and Spe, and vice versa for solid. For BEC and Plasma, they have been taken to the extreme, moving 25 more from each stat.

I meant like, higher BSTs in general. Also it's rarer than the main three and I don't think making two different locations would be good, just takes up more space + time.

Also it's rarer than the main three no www.plasma-universe.com/99.999%25_plasma (link cites many many many sources) Anyway, talk BSTs on the main thread, its much more convenient there. If you can suggest a spread, post it.

Thermometer imo
Also very hot is easy to obtain, so why should plasma have better stats?

I wanted to use Thermometer, but they don't control the temperature, they only measure it. There are no devices woth a specific name that "control" the temperature, so I had to make one up.
Plasma does not have better stats, but I'm gonna update the op, its event-exclusive.

Does not really control temperature in the way I like it to be. Regulates temperature more than controls it.
EDIT: W/e I'm calling it thermostat. This is also now a key item.

Approved 1/2. I preferred this as a key item and now it is. The name fits well for the fakemon using it.
