Comeback: Upon switch in, this Pokemon raises its speed once for every fainted Pokemon on its team.
Note: If a Pokemon on its team faints while this Pokemon is active (in doubles/triples), to receive the boost, you would have to switch out and back in again.

The note seems a bit complicated, it should be kept simple. Essentially a Speed Moxie. I don't think this is good when Speed Boost is already a thing and completely outclasses this so yeah... I don't like the name either. Pokemon make late game sweeps all the time. I don't know what you would give this to flavor besides the pokemon that already have speed boost.

The note is simply a clarification, and it doesn't matter if it is complex. I was simply stating what would happen in a rather specific situation, and the note would never appear in the game.
It's not a speed version of Moxie. Moxie is when you faint a Pokemon on the other team and it helps you to faint another. This ability is when your team has fainted and it helps you attack back.
Also, it's not COMPLETELY outclassed by Speed Boost. Speed Boost means that although you can get a boost when all your team is alive, you have to survive a turn first. This turn could be important if you try to use Protect and the opponent sets up, or the opponent outspeeds and attacks you when you have bad defense stats. This ability means you don't need to worry about this.
OK, if you don't like the name, could you please suggest a new one?
Thanks for the response.

ooh I read it wrong. so basically if the whole team is dead but this one mon with this ability, when that mon comes in it'll automatically get +5 speed? that seems interesting but maybe too much since like download is restricted to one stage while this has the possibility to +5. It just depends on what you give this to really. Like I don't see a way a player could play around this since they have to kill the mons and u could just save this to the end and they don't really have a choice. Seems like an interesting idea but it could be a bit too much depending on the mon.

This is too OP imo If you send a slow strong attacker in last with this, BOOM hes outspeeding everything.
I dont like this

I see this ability on frail, nimble, ninja-like pokes with crap defense and decent offense and speed, and the ability gives them a chance to hit back and retaliate when its allies fall in battle.

Please stop saying "if it was on this Pokemon, it would be overpowered!" or "if it was on this Pokemon, it would be useless!" because that's pointless. Imagine if Huge Power wasn't a thing yet, and someone submitted it and then someone said "This is a bad idea because if it got given to Slaking it would be overpowered!" It's not a bad ability just because it's not suited to some of the existing Pokemon. The Pokemon it would be given to would most likely be a slow Fakemon, not any of the Pokemon which are clearly inappropriate for the ability.

Yeah, this ability would be balanced as long as the recipient has low (40 or 50-ish) speed, and good/mediocre other stats. With that in mind, this is a great ability, I like it n.n

I guess. I can see this on a slow pokemon, but as Dev said, it would have to be REALLY slow

This would be kind of complicated to program and I really don't know how I feel about it in general. It doesn't wow me right off the bat which isn't a good thing.

I wonder if you could use Beat Up to base the coding off of. I know it's a move and they have different aspects, but I think someone can make it work.
It's a good Ability for slow Pokemon, and I think it's alright

The double and triple battle thing sounds kinda confusing. To me, it seems like this ability would become useless in those tiers than in singles. The switch-in effect limits the amount of maximum potential speed the 'Mon can get. (And you really wouldn't want to save this 'Mon for last for every battle anyways) Also, how would revival items affect this ability? How would reviving a fainted Pokemon in-game affect the additive speed boost for the Comebacker?

How would reviving a fainted Pokemon in-game affect the additive speed boost for the Comebacker? I don't think you understand? In a double's battle, Pokemon 1 has Comeback. Pokemon 2 is on Pokemon 1's team. Pokemon 3 is opponent. Pokemon 4 is opponent. Pokemon 1 is sent out while three Pokemon in its party are fainted. It receives 3 speed boosts (2.5x speed). Battle stuff happens. Pokemon 2 faints and Pokemon 1 does not receive a speed boost. To receive the speed boost from the fainted Pokemon, it would have to switch out and back in again, and it would then have a 3x speed boost. It's not really a feature of the ability, just how it would work. It would not become useless in doubles or triples. The maximum potential speed the Pokemon can get is still 5 boosts (3.5x speed), just like in singles. Reviving would be exactly the same, just reversed. Pokemon 1 is sent out while 3 Pokemon on its party are fainted. It receives 3 speed boosts (2.5x speed). Again, stuff happens. One of the 3 fainted Pokemon is revived. The speed boost of Pokemon 1 is not affected. Next time Pokemon 1 is sent out, it will only have 2 speed boosts (2x speed) because only 2 members of its party are fainted. Basically, every time the Pokemon with Comeback is sent out, the game checks how many Pokemon in its party are fainted and boosts speed accordingly. There is nothing else to it. Nothing will affect this speed, even if the amount of fainted Pokemon changes, however, it will affect the speed the next time the Pokemon with comeback is sent out.

If speed boosts don't get added on until the Comebacker switches out and back in, wouldn't double battles be reduced to 4 boosts and triples down to 3? First 2 pokes faint, then the next 2, so then you have 2 left for the double battle, and since you won't be able to get the speed boost from the non-comebacker, it'll reduce to 4. Same with triple battles. If the first three non-cbackers faint, then you send in your last three, the cbacker would only get three speed boosts. Or am I forgetting something? Idk. I don't do doubles nor triples.

How About Making This Ability Only Be Used If The POkemon Is The LAst One On The Team? And It Raises Speed By 1 stage only.
Comeback: Boost Speed By 1 Stage If It Is The Last Pokemon On The Team. Flavor Text: "(Insert Pokemon Name) Is Making A Comeback."

You don't send out the Pokemon in 2s and 3s, you send them out individually as soon as a Pokemon on the field faints, meaning it is still possible to have a single Pokemon left being sent out.
