Legendary Theme The name of our game is Pokemon Threads of Fate and our cover legend is Temponae. We still need two counteracting legendary Pokemon to complete this trio (ex: Xerneas and Yveltal, Zekrom and Reshiram). They must revolve around the theme of fate and must represent something opposite of the other for balance (ex: land and sky, space and time). Keep in mind you are NOT submitting a Pokemon here or what creature it'll be based off of, simply just theme ideas. We need these to complete our plot. Now let the juices flow~
Ideas will be recorded here: - Forced Control & Karma - Fortune & Misfortune

Rudrak. Why do we not have Rudrak as a countering legend.

Its a giant spider, they are known for eating birds. So maybe it is some sort of bird?

We are not using Rudrak. Rudrak's purpose was to be a filler legendary while we came up with the real one.

To be honest, the game/plot revolves more around reality, spacetime, and the "balance" of the universe more than fate. Temponae is meant to be the being that holds it together (string theory), and the consequences of the actions of the Chiram Order and Prism Inc. with the "web eater" is what happens when you mess with that.

Interestingly enough, the only things that naturally eat spider webs are... well... the same spiders who put it down.

[20:54:29] #Salient: Devo, we don't even have plot done lol [20:54:35] #Salient: right now it revolves more around fate [20:56:09] #Salient: o he's not here
Ok then. Whatever we do, one of them has to be a web eater. We can say that that legendary and the trouble it causes represents what happens when you try to change fate, when you try to control the uncontrollable (Forced Control?). And the third one could represent karma, an idea very closely connected to fate. This could be the legendary that helps the protag fix the damage and get rid of the evildoers.

Since it is about fate. It could be accompanied by Fortune and Misfortune, which would oppose each other, while fate would balance it out.

Why not borrow a little from Greek mythology and the three Fates, the one that spins the threads, the one that measures, and the one that cuts? Our favorite spider god thing is the spinner obviously, the cutter could be some dark or ghost type with large claws (maybe a crow of something that's said to foretell disaster... but trying not to step to much on Yveltal's wingfeathers) and the measuring pokemon could be... well I don't know honestly.
In Greek mythology the measurer is known as Lachesis, which is also apparently "a genus of pit vipers sometimes called bushmasters. It includes the largest venomous snake in the Western Hemisphere." -Wikipedia... So a large snake could be cool. My main problem is a snake + a crow = gen 6 legandaries a little too much.

I propose my Serpegila as the the one that measures the thread. Being a Poison-Type AND a snake, it fits quite well in this sense. That said, I do have concerns, and one of those concerns I have is that in Greek mythology, this sister gave souls the option to choose their next life, which is rather kind, but snakes do not represent kindness. Like I have said NUMEROUS times, WE NEED A POISON-TYPE LEGENDARY FOR ONCE. I seriously don't understand why TrollFreak hasn't gotten around to it yet. Serpegila (Serpent + Unhcegila, a giant serpent-like creature from Native American Mythology) Type: Poison/ Species: ? HT: 45'9" (from head to tail)WT: 2203.4 LBS Ability: Pressure? HA: ? 100/110/150/100/130/90 The HT and WT are based on the Titanoboa, a gigantic prehistoric snake. These measurements do not make it the longest or the heaviest Pokemon. We'll need to work on this to make it fit with Temponae. Also, I'm surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet... Gods like Zeus and Hades are much higher on the hierarchy than the sisters of fate in Greek Mythology and this is widely known, even to those who don't follow Greek Mythology. As a result, I propose that we make this the 580 BST legend trio instead of the main 680 BST legends. If we go with this suggestion, then I believe that Temponae should have this stat distribution: 90/90/80/115/85/120 And Serpegila to have this one: 90/90/120/85/115/80
