I don't expect a lot of changes, but if you want any mechanic to change (Type Chart, Status, ETC.), post it here!
I got only one thing personally: Make someone unthaw when it's hit by any damaging attack, 20% unthaw chance doesn't apply anymore.
It'd still get some advantages, such as free setting up and switches but you don't have to rely on a small percent of hax to unthaw. You may think the opponent just keeps setting up, but you can switch out, tactically force him to attack and switch this in to unthaw.
With this we could actually have some Freezing move.

Uhh your freeze suggestion is actually flawed. Not only can you set-up on a frozen Pokémon, you could just freeze your opponent's whole team and just keep using whirlwind until they die from hazards.
Edit: It also means guaranteed damage.

Why not every move which targets the opponent then? I really think anything is better than the current ones. Guaranteed damage is not so bad and you get it too with Sleep, as well as stuff like Flinch.

Throwing in a quick suggestion for a "Light" type, because Wynaut. If this is approved, I can make a lot of new Pokemon for it.
SE: Dark, Poison, maybe one more NVE: Ice (It needs more resists), Rock, Fire, Steel Weak: Dark, Steel, Rock Resist: Poison, Bug, Fighting
Also we need to buff Ice, Ice way too weak imo.

Make Ice resist Fairy imo if we want to buff it. Fairy is a fairly "no downside" type, and to me it kinda makes sense, though I can't explain why.
We can also make Ice neutral on Water and make it resist Water, as it freezes it, but I prefer the first option.

Fairies don't liek the cold imo But that's only 2 resistances, use the water thing to make it 3. That should be balanced.

If we're suggesting types then I'm just gonna throw a type I made AGES ago out there: the Tarot-type.
Tarot retypes Trump Card, Pay Day, Future Sight and Will-o-Wisp to Tarot. The King's Rock also increases the power of it's attacks. Old Pokémon that gain the Tarot typing are Vulpix, Ninetales, Goldeen, Seaking, Misdreavus, Mismagius, Accelgor, Absol, Rapidash, Cresselia, Aromatisse, Watchog, Gothita, Gothorita, Gothitelle, Drowzee and Hypno. Pokémon who have changed types to Tarot-types are Meowth, Persian, Hoothoot and Noctowl.
Tarot is super-effective against Ghost, Psychic and Fairy-types. It does little damage to Poison, Dragon and Bug-types. It is resistant to Ghost, Psychic and Dark-type attacks. It is weak against Poison and Bug-types.

I don't think any new types will be good. Tarot sounds like Psychic a lot as well.
I got suggestions for Light already as well, but denied that too. Unless you guys have very convincing arguments, I aint' adding a new typing.

We could have something similar to Mega Evolution the way it could be specific to certain Pokémon. E.g. You could have a Mechanical forms for Pokémon that gains Steel-type

Floette, I'd be open to Mechanical Formes for certain Pokemon (Starters and Legendaries most likely!). Another thing to go along with this idea, would be like a Spirit Forme like the Pokemon are dead so they have a Ghost type. Thoughts?

I'm not a huge fan of random forms either.. Sounds like Mega does most of this, and otherwise just give it a secondary form.

I second the idea of Ice resisting Fairy as currently it only resists itself. Perhaps even have Ice resist Dragon instead/as well?

Other than making new types, I have a sort of neat idea for Double Battles. When a Pokemon is confused, not only does it have a chance to hit itself, it also has a chance to hit it's partner in battle. Sounds like something really neat

I like that idea. It's a minor addition but will add some differentiation from the other Pokemon games, which is something I hope we do much of.

The only problem is that Doubles/VGC is gonna turn into Confusion Spam: The Meta. Suddenly Kangaskhan will run Dizzy Punch. It's just enough to make people ragequit.

Not really, the attacks are not strong and there should just be 25% chance to hit yourself, and 25% chance to hit your opponent.
What about making it like 25% to hit the wrong opponent too then if you do succeed. That way you have 25% chance of hitting everyone.

Aqua Ring should enable the user to be immune to Burn and if already Burned, cure it. The Ability Water Veil should also enable the user to be immune to Burn; similarly gaining the Ability Water Veil while already Burned should cure it.

^Liking that. How many turns will weather last, 5 (8 with weather boosting item) or unlimited turns?

I would honestly like Weather to stay the same, except Ability + Item. I'd like that to be permanent. Additionally Cloud Nine and Air Lock should completely cancel the weather, in my opinion.

Aromatherapy and Heal Bell remove Confusion as well as what it removes now.

If it cured confusion, what about other volatile status conditions such as perish song, curse, infatuation, or nightmare?

I was thinking... What if Normal Poison functioned as a sort of special attack reducing burn??? It could bring some usage to certain unused moves like Poison Gas and the like. And yes, I feel like this could work.

Hm since poison weakens most aspects of the body in general, I think it could work... Idk as you said maybe adding a new status would be nice
